Personal Care

For most people living as independently as they can in their own home as they age is what they want. But sometimes they need some help with daily tasks that they can no longer manage as well on their own.

Our staff can assist with a variety of personal care services. Personal Care assistance is carried out by our Assistant Nurses and includes assistance with:

  • Showering
  • Dressing
  • Grooming
  • Going to the toilet
  • Getting in and out of bed
  • Moving around the house
  • Preparing meals and snacks
An important role our staff provide in personal care is to provide emotional support as well as being someone our clients can talk to
